Motegi, EN runganSport — This weekend MotoGP will hold its 16th series in a total of 19 series this season.

Twin Ring Motegi Circuit became the Japanese MotoGP venue this weekend, home to Suzuki, Yamaha and Honda.

Repsol Honda rider Marc Marquez came as the leader of the standings with a 77-point lead from his closest competitor, Andrea Dovizioso.

If Marquez manages to finish in front of Dovi on Sunday, it is not impossible that the Spanish rider will immediately lock the world title this year earlier.

The Twin Ring Motegi circuit has an overall length of 4.8 km, with six left bends and 8 right bends.

The average track width reaches 15 meters and the longest straight line stretches up to 762 meters.

Racing for the Moto3 class will take 20 laps, Moto2 22 laps and the main class 24 laps.

The name of the Repsol Honda rider, Dani Pedrosa and the champion of the Ducati Team, Jorge Lorenzo became the rider with the most wins in Japan, which is the same three times the top podium one.

Buriram, EN runganSport — Repsol Honda rider Marc Marquez won the Ducati Team star, Andrea Dovizioso at the Thailand MotoGP yesterday.

The two fought fiercely until the final lap, even Marquez won after passing Dovi at the final corner.

Both of these drivers defend the same team and manufacturer, two with two different racing styles.

Both remind us of the fierce duels in the early era of the Grand Prix of the 1990s, namely the battles of Wayne Rainey and Kevin Schwantz.

Marquez noted that his late braking style made him more comparable to Schwantz, but Marquez admitted that he was currently trying to appear even more gentle like Dovi who tended to be the same as Rainey’s racing style.

“Of course it was last year and this year we have a really great fight, and the fight to the final corner is always good for this sport,” Marquez told MotorSport.

“I always try to give everything to the last meter, because Dovi also does the same thing.

This is a good fighting method, and we always respect each other,” continued the Spaniard.

Marquez admitted that the racing style with Dovi was indeed very different from each other.

“We have a different racing style, a different motorbike and he has very strong points, I have strong points in other sectors.

So this creates conditions that we can play in a good way, another way to overtake opponents.

“I might prefer Schwantz style, because I put the brakes on the brakes and braking points differently than most riders.

“But now I’m trying to change my racing style, I’m trying to imitate the racing style of Dovi, which is famous for being smooth, a little leaning and very fast when it comes out of the corner,” explained Marquez. (DN/eV)

Buriram, EN runganSport — Ducati Team rider, Andrea Dovizioso has defeated his toughest opponent three times, Marc Marquez at the final Turn.

First at the 2017 Austrian Grand Prix, then at the 2017 Japanese GP and earlier this year at the Qatar GP.

Dovi almost beat Marquez four times in the same way, but this time in the Thai MotoGP yesterday Dovi failed to execute The Baby Alien.

On the contrary, it is now Marquez’s turn to work on Dovi at the final Bend, Marquez was immediately pleased and revealed that he could finally take revenge on the Italian rider.

In the two laps before finishing, Dovi actually had the same moves to conquer Marquez at the final corner.

It turned out that this was immediately studied by Marquez, in order to avoid the DesmoDovi trap, the end of the final lap.

“I know the Dovi strategy well, because I have lost three times in this way,” Marquez admitted as reported by Motorsport.

“I gave a full boost on the last lap, because I had lost against Dovi on the last lap and that had affected me so far.

But this condition has become a motivation for me to get out of the shadow of the power of the final corner of Dovi, ” closed the Cervera rider.

With victory in Thailand last week, it is likely that Marquez will immediately lock the world title in the next race at the Japanese GP.

Marquez only needed to finish in front of Dovi just to make sure he became champions this year, without the need to wait for the final race in Valencia. (DN / eV)

Buriram, runganSport — Repsol Honda rider, Marc Marquez admitted that he was very relieved after defeating Ducati Team start, Andrea Dovizioso at the end of the Buriram circuit in the Thai MotoGP.

Marquez, who started the race from Pole’s position, was scattered on the initial laps, so in the middle of the race Marquez began to restore his course, had four laps before the finish line.

Finally Marqez managed to defeat Dovi and claim victory in Thailand.

“In the end I was able to get revenge after (losing) three times from Dovi, and on this fourth occasion I changed the style of racing a little.

Honestly, my strategy is to try to go as fast as possible when the race is only ten or eight laps away,” Marquez told Crash.

“I saw Dovi’s speed was good and maybe I could be a little faster, but I had a hard time getting through it because my front tire was too hot, I also couldn’t brake properly at the normal point.

“For that reason I tried to attack before the last lap, to try to cool the front tires a little, but Dovi was really smart and he overtook me every chance.

Then I told myself ‘okay, we’ll see on the last lap’. Then I tried to forget everything, including the standings, to give everything in the race,” continued the Spaniard.

Three laps to finish, Marquez tried to run away from Dovi’s pursuit, but failed and Dovi easily overtook Marquez at each end.

Then Marquez changed the strategy by taking over Dovi’s position.

“I actually tried to look fast at the last corner when three laps were left, I tried to overtake Dovi there, but I couldn’t stop the motorbike in a good way and Dovi passed me.

“So we changed positions and I like the style of Dovi and he did Marquez’s style, and in the end the race ended well for me,” Marquez admitted happily. (DN/eV)

Barcelona, EN runganSport — Repsol Honda rider Marc Marquez is currently 72 points ahead in the standings from his closest competitor, Andrea Dovizioso.

Marquez has a good chance to lock the world title this season at the upcoming Japan MotoGP.

But, there is still hope for Dovi to catch up with Marquez, because in any race it can happen.

Marquez himself admitted that he could lose the chance for the title this season if he was not careful.

“The work has not been completed, and this will not be finished until my points are not overtaken again.

I can make mistakes, so we must be careful and stay focused,” Marquez said.

“So, this year we need to focus and keep working. In MotoGP, anything can happen, we can make mistakes, we can experience mechanical problems, human errors, track conditions, and weather.

We have to work hard and stay focused on opportunities to win races.

“I always start the weekend with enthusiasm to win and then see what happens on Sunday, and we will continue to do it,” continued the Spanish rider.

Meanwhile Dovi seems to be realistic by not really hoping to win the title this season.

Dovi’s focus is only to win the race.

“To catch 72 points in five races is not possible. The only way is if he is not racing, even though the conditions will still be difficult!

If we want to be realistic, everything can happen in the race and mathematically the opportunity is still open,” said Dovi. (DN/eV)

Ducati: Dovi Will Fight for Title

Ducati: Dovi Will Fight for Title
Marc Marquez vs Andrea Dovizioso, MotoGP 2018 / runganSport English © MotoGP.

Bologna, EN runganSport — Last year Ducati almost returned to become world champion through their flagship rider, Andrea Dovizioso.

This 2018 season, Dovi again fought for the same thing, but conditions were slightly different because of his competitors, Marc Marquez was at the top of the standings with a greater advantage than the previous season.

So, so far Ducati is rather difficult to realize their dreams of becoming champions.

This is more due to the many errors at the beginning of the season, whether intentional or not.

But, for next year Ducati seems to have prepared itself more mature to challenge the world title.

Dovi certainly can pursue the world title with Ducati, Ducati itself is very supportive of Dovi to realize this, with unceasing development with their test rider, Michele Pirro.

“Pirro always works on future projects. GP19 is the evolution of the previous motorbike and not the revolution, just trying a few small details, but nothing special.

Meanwhile, Casey Stoner wants to retire, but we haven’t decided yet, we still have to talk to him,” said Ducati Corse Manager Davide Tordozzi.

How about the pace of Dovi this season in the eyes of Tordozzi.

“There was bitterness, but there was no regret for Dovi, which he certainly did better.

We thank him for what he did last season and for what he did this year.

There are times when we are wrong, sometimes he is wrong and in Jerez, for example, he is involved in a racing accident.

“Dovi is very competitive and next year he will be better prepared to win the title,” concluded the Italian man. (DN/eV)
